If you have received a prescription for an item that you don't need, let us know before collecting it from the pharmacy to reduce medicines wastage

If you have used clinical waste, or sharps at home, do not return them to your pharmacy as we may not be able to accept them: instead contact the council on 0300 123 9208 to arrange a collection. See here for more details.

DID YOU KNOW that a study by the Upper Valleys Cluster previously indicated 90% of inhalers were being sent to landfill via general household waste – this can result in HFA gases leaking out of the inhalers which can contribute to global warming. Instead of throwing them away, return them to your pharmacy for recycling.
